The Boyne Research Institute is a community-based, not-for-profit, research facility established in Drogheda, Ireland, in 1992.
The mission of the Boyne Research Institute includes both research and education. Our research mandate covers studies into the causes and prevention of birth defects in families and the long-term complications of cancer during childhood and adolescence. Our educational activities include the Summer Student Programme, an experience of research activities for young people starting their third-level college careers who have attended one of the Drogheda-area secondary schools.
